| im really quite against hitting, spanking, smacking - whatever you want to label it as. we as adults would not accept another person much larger than ourselves striking us in any way to "teach us a lesson" what kind of lesson does it teach exactly?? that it is ok to hit others if they are not doing as you want them to? i am a mother of a now wonderful little boy that used to be, and can still be, quite a handful. i tried every which way every technique you could think of to try and stop his bad behaviour - including, i think about 3 times and through sheer desperation smacking - when i did his bad behaviour noticably soared and he started hitting other guys and our relationship deteriorated. i stopped as soon as i saw this and low and behold his behaviour improved. i have never ever hit him since and we are so close and he is a joy to have. i also remember being hit by my parents and he resentment i felt toward them. nobody should need to hit a guy there are so many alternative ways of manging their behaviour. |

| I am open with them. But, like, I would not tell a 3 year old exactly how to have sex, or something like that. lol. I absolutley disagree with spanking!! On wednesday, it is our day to take the guys out for dinner, at places like Red Robin. And before we go out, we usually hang out at the mall, or go see a movie. (After the oldest two get out of school) And Sunday is an obvious one. It is family day. Time to go to church. Go to the park, and hang out with the fam.! My guys are really into disney channel, nick jr. and stuff like that. My 8 year old likes the Jonas Brothers. My six year old likes Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus. My four year ols likes pooh stuff, and my 3 year old likes Hannah Montana, aswell. And then the twins babies (5 months) aren't into that stuff yet, obviously. My guydos all have very different things they enjoy doing/working on/palying with, and I suppose you could call them hobbies. My eight year old is very smart, and enjoys reading, and is right now working on a powerpoint presentation of his family. Awww...(he just got his OWN laptop in March.) My six year old LOVES dancing. She takes ballet, tap, and she used to do swimming. She is an exellent swimmer. We call her "nemo," after the fish in "finding nemo." lol. My four year old is really into cars/trucks, the normal four year old boy stuff. My three year old is totally into fashion, clothes and shoes. She was trying to convince me she wanted either for me to dye her hair, or put highlights in!! And the twins just love to laugh...laugh, laugh, laugh! We do go to church, every Sunday! We are very strong christians. Advice that I would give to any parent: "Expect the unexpected!" It is so true! You never know what will happen, so you always have to be prepapred!!! Advice that I would give to Moms trying to raise large families: Don't ever throw in the towel! Never quit! Never say "this is too hard." If you can survive labor and birth, you can survive anything! Tips: Always, when you are changing a baby boy's diaper, cover his "man part," or you will pay the consequences!!!
